Why do you just continue to down Spring Hill all the time.

How have I downed Spring Hill???? I said that they are much improved and they are. I picked them to beat Lawrence Co. & Montgomery Central and they did. I said they would give Marshall Co. a run for their money back in week zero, when everyone else had Marshall blowing Spring Hill out, and look what happened. In fact truth be told Spring Hill should have beaten Marshall Co.

Last week I picked Giles Co., an unbeaten team, to beat Spring Hill 28-13. The final score wound up being 21-13. I missed it by a touchdown. WOW!!!! :D

How in the world have I clowned on Spring Hill's football program this year???? Pretty much everything I have predicted on them this year has wound up becoming reality. ANSWER THE QUESTION FOR ME!!!!

Fairview is a one loss football team that has beaten Hickman Co. (a team in the playoff hunt in Region 5-4A) and Ezell Harding (who has beaten Mt. Pleasant and East Robertson this year). The Jackets will wind up being the #3 seed out of Region 5-2A at the end of the year. They are better than DCA and East Robertson and are good enough to name their score against both Harpeth and FRA. I don't believe they'll beat CPA because the Lions are a very good football team. I'm sorry if that hurts anyone's feelings at Fairview :D

If Spring Hill beats Fairview on the road at their "Homecoming 2006" then that would be the biggest win for that program in quite some time. I'm still taking Fairview to win the game but it will be a close one :P

Not sure how Big Country was downing Spring Hill when he predicted Fairview to win.

I say Fairview by 6

Having an "opinion" is a bad thing to some people. You need to stop hating on Spring Hill too I guess.

Maybe SHHSRaiders27 needs to shut the heck up because he's obviously clowning on Fairview by picking Spring Hill to win this week by 2TD's. Yes that does qualify as the same thing in case you haven't figured it out yet

nvrlooscntn stated a fact about the Fairview-Goodpasture game last week. He went on to state his opinion of what's going to happen this week. I guess he needs to stop clowning on Fairview's football program

I will never post a score prediction or a predicted winner to a Spring Hill football game EVER AGAIN!!! I wouldn't want to force their beloved fans, students, or players to go crazy over something as small as this message board :D

    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
    • He was pretty darn good for a freshman, but he will have a hard time seeing the field at Oakland for a good while, I’m afraid.
    • Dang I feel bad for the kid. I’m sure he loves his dad and wants to do anything for his dad but I don’t think he realizes his dad isn’t doing the best for his football career if he keeps jumping schools.
    • I’m not taking shots at the kid, but “athlete” is not something I would use to describe him. He was a long, lengthy, defensive back
