The other semi had to be the most exciting match of the tournament (don't know about the Finals) as Ooltewah and Father Ryan traded punch for punch, for 3 straight games. In the first, OHS was up 12-1 and then held on to win 25-23 with Whitney Wulf getting the game ending kill. :D Game 2, FR jumped out to an early 4-5 point lead and pretty much held on to it the whole way winning 25-19. The third game was tight all the way. I don't believe either team was up by more than 3 or 4. Late in the match FR was up 20-17 (I think) but Ooltewah made a late run and took the lead 24-23, and was serving for the match but a kill by FR tied it up and then FR scored the last 2 pts. to win the match. It was as exciting a match as I have seen this year and believe me I left out a lot of details and really don't give justice to how well both teams played! Thanks for hosting us Father Ryan it was a great tournament and a great match and a great time had by all. :D

Pelham is very strong and may be a little more rested than FR. Personally, I hope FR does win it all!

Congratulations to Whitney! We will have to get together for a scouting session on Father Ryan as they figure to be the favorite in Division II.
