Loretto won both its matches at Mt. Pleasant, but neither were district games as they have completed their district schedule earlier to go undefeated in that area.

Loretto def Mt. Pleasant 2-0 (25-5. 25-12)

Loretto def Culleoka 2-0 (27-25, 25-19)

I'll have a points analysis of the Culleoka match shortly.

I was surprised with game 1 as Loretto had a lot of attack errors, but they recovered in game two to win the match. They had an easy match against Mt. Pleasant to start with and may not have been up for Culleoka. Culleoka played good defense against the hard attacks by Loretto's Brewer and Williams and have improved a lot since I saw them earlier in the season against Spring Hill and in the Page Classic.

I talked with Loretto Coach Dee Dee Brown before the matches started and she told me that Lewis Co. appears to be the 2nd place team in this district. All of Lewis Co's results and those of Summertown are not shown of their schedules here. I'm not sure of Culleoka's district record, but they certainly will be a factor in the district tournament next week at Hampshire.
