How Does DeKalb Change?

The only people reading your post and taking it to heart are the other dumbbells who think like you. The morale is down because of parents like yourself who harp and complain all the time. The plays are down because of players and parents who think they are and have the best athlete out on the field and are NEVER happy with what coach is doing. It wouldn't matter if they were going to the State Playoffs someone would be starting something. That is just how it works in Dekalb County.

How many times have we seen a player fling the ball at the other team after the play and get a penalty because he got tackled......it's football you get tackled! That's how to use a good positive play for the team. How about when some players theaten to "lay down" because they don't get their way. That's real positive! Or fake injuries so they don't have to play a tough team, that way they can't be blamed for loosing the game.

Just exactly who do you THINK could replace the coach? The old coach who skipped town and left tons of bills for the school and quarterback club, the one who lost his job as a teacher, the one who let all the players smoke and smoked with them? The old middle school coach, or even the new one..................come on! Look at the school system, who's in it that would give everything to teach these kids football? The man makes $5,000 to coach football, have you looked at his schedule? He doesn't do it for the money folks! Frankly, I don't know why he would do it at all for that kind of change and have to put up with bickering parents.

Get positve and back the coaches! Do you really think they want to lose every Friday night? I agree that it does start with the coach but there comes a time when a player has to be held responsible for doing his job on the field. Some aren't doing their jobs on Friday or during the practice week either. When you don't come to practice you don't get to play. Coach puts the best team on the field Friday nights that he thinks can win the game. We are in a tough region and are up against teams the live and breathe football and have tons of money to support their program.

How embrassing it was to have family and children come to Senior Night and have to listen to all the comments made in the stands from people who call themselves adults. If they were students they would be expelled! And I thought cheerleading parents were notably the worst for fussing .........
