I think it was 94 that they showed the championship game on ESPN2 when Science Hill played Ricky Moore's team.

 

 

The coach for Pigeon forge played on that team and his dad was the coach, but I don't know if that was the year tho. Do you know what year Moore was then, because Mike Wright (current PF coach) was a SR. when Westside GA won state and I think Moore was a 10th or 11th grader. You know the other guy on that team went to duke(I can't remember his name) but Moore started for UConn and the other started for Duke in the Natl. Champ game one year.

Moore was a senior for Westside the year that they won the Arby's classic and it was on ESPN2.

 

I think the guy you are talking about is William Avery. He played his senior year at Oak Hill though.

That sounds right...All I knew was Coach Wright was on the team and they won GA state when he was a SR. and they were under classmen
