Angela Puleo broke her own Blouint County scoring record[43] when she connected for 46 points last night. She did it without a 3 point field goal. She was 14/25 from the floor and 18/20 from the free throw line. William Blount with only 7 players overcame an early 12 point deficit to defeat the Tornados. Megan Wilson with 3 big 3 pointers, Danielle Sampley with 10 points inside, and Sarah Walker's rebounding, defense, and free throws highlighted a big win for the Governors.

I'm not positive it's the "Blount County" single game scoring record, but it is for certain the William Blount single game record. It may well be a Blount County record, but I know there have been some really good offensive performances around the county in past years. Anyone know of a higher single game output in Blount County?

 

And by the way, Ang just had 2 points in the first quarter.

I believe that I heard that her 43 last season was the Blount County record... so this would take over the top spot. I'm not positive, however.
