I am new to bowling and how it is run. I understand this is the first year for individual bowling so i was wondering how do they set up brackets, does everyone bowl and only half of the bowlers advacne to the next round, how does it work. Thanks for any help, and also i looked on tssaa.org and couldnt find anything.

Four best averages in each district go. Bowl four games, cut to top 24. Four more games, cut to top six (on 8-game totals). Those six bowl six more games in head-to-head matches (each opponent once, and then a position round), with a 30-pin bonus for a win and 15 for a tie. The title is decided on pinfall from all 14 games, including bonuses.

 

In Division II, each grand division sends eight, and the first stage is skipped (so the final totals are over 10 games).
