Tiger Classic (Athens, TN)

The second annual Tiger Classic softball tourney will be held March 16 & 17 at the Athens, TN Regional Park. Still openings for a couple of teams. Teams entered are: McMinn Central, Polk Co., Tellico, Sequoyah, Meigs Co., Midway, Sale Creek, Notre Dame, Kingston, Bledsoe Co., Johnson Co., and Seymour.

Looks like there is going to be alot of competition again.....Alot more teams there this year than last year....Maybe it won't be so darn cold this year....

I don't know of any way that it could be any colder....I almost froze to death....

I went to Athens on that Friday night in between games and no store in Athens sold hot hands....It was so cold, especially with the wind blowing hard...

Man, that wind really blows on that hill.

 

This year, I am taking a wind break or tent or something...

Pool A- Friday @ 5:00 Polk Co. vs Kingston and Sequoyah vs Sale Creek. Winners play at 6:30 and losers play at 6:30.

 

Pool B- Friday @5:00 McMinn Central vs Midway and Notre Dame vs Tellico. Winners play at 8:00 and losers play at 8:00.

 

Pool C- Friday @ 6:30 Meigs Co. vs Johnson Co. and Seymour vs Bledsoe Co. Winners play at 8:00 and losers play at 8:00.

 

Double elimination starts Saturday at 9:00 AM
