Region 4A Girls Quaterfinals 2-23 @ 7pm....1 and 2 seeds from district tournmanets will host.

 

Semis- 2-26 @ 6:00 and 7:30 at Watertown

 

Finals - 2-28 @ 7pm at Watertown

 

So RBS and JC host and C-range and Monteral must go to the 1 and 2 seeds. Who will be the 1 and 2 seeds in the other half or the region and who will be 3 and 4 seeds.

RBS and JC should advance fairly easily, but Westmoreland and Gordonsville are not pushovers by any means, Crange and Monterey will have there work cut out for them in the first round! the post season is a whole different beast than the regular season, especially when you play the first round at home, where theses 2(Westmoreland and Gordonsville) teams have lost only 5 games combine at home this year by my count! And out of lose 5, 3 were avenged at the opposing teams home with the only 2 not avenged were against RBS! Dont expect Crange nor Monterey to have a cakewalk

Guys we are in a big hole. We are not playing good ball right now. Gotta travel to a tough first round game in a hostile environment (Westmoreland or Gordonsville). We can't even think about RBS yet, and they are smokin' hot right now. Anybody got a ladder, so we can try to climb out......danba????anyone???

 

ps...congrats RBS on the district championship. Swanson, 1/3 of your prediction has come true. Question: When was the last district title for RBS? just curious.

I agree with you BUFF. They are kinda off track right now. And being so young, it is sometimes hard to get back on the track. Good luck.

If Richland gets there, they will win.

 

Getting there is the problem. Look, we played a state finals type game last night against a top 10 team, Santa Fe. Now we face another top 10 team, Summertown. Then we play 2 teams that are running under the radar, one of which beat Jackson County last week in Moore County. The other side would be Perry County. Their style of play could give us fits. Then we face one of 3 more top 10 teams that survive their side of the bracket. Those being Santa Fe, Collinwood, or Wayne County. Then we could possibly play another top 10 team in Forrest. All that before getting to the EASY games at 'Boro. If we can get through that and get to the finals, no one can beat us.

I agree with both of you Jamie and Buff...Anyone that get's to state has their work cut out for them. What I am hoping Buff is that Lamar is building that long ladder this week and has those girls ready to play Friday night. Do we know which one it is yet? Westmoreland or Gordonsville. Which is the best team Westmoreland or Gordonsville? Is Kelli going to get to play? We all know there are going to be some very good teams put out in the next few days. But Jamie you can say the same thing about any team that get there "If Richland gets there, they will win, your statement" and we know one of them will not win. What are those 4 college degree of your in anyway? Which side of Pulaski do you live on anyway? Out 64 near Frankwing.
