It's time to bury the hachet and cheer for one another. SMeyers is right, we are one Big 9 Family, like it or not. And after this weekend, whoever makes to Sullivan South will be our Region 1 dysfunctional family. So.... whoever makes it to the Sub-State, I will cheer for, whether it is us (Volunteer) or any other team out of our Region. I have coached a long time via AAU and TSSAA. One thing that I have been blessed to see is that our area is strong in basketball. Coaches and players just have to believe they can match up with anyone, get over the fear factor and let the chips fall where they may. It takes hard work and discipline to succeed. Every team left in the tourney has gotten here through hard work that is paying off now. Congratulations to everyone in the Big Nine Family and I wish you well on Saturday night. We'll hopefullly see the same teams next week as we did this past week. GOD Bless!!!!!!!

Yes, It doesn't matter how much of a family we are... I still think you are going to have bashers whereever and whenever due to jeaulousy. Been there done that last year. My team was done last week, yet I'll still be at regionals watching those games!! It is high school basketball with high school kids doing what they love. Go support your team and your kids, but support all these kids fullfill their "dreams" on the basketball court. I totally agree, it's fun to come on CoachT and growl back and forth but pick a line and draw it. Best of luck to the teams that have made it to Region.

Sorry I had to defuse the situation. I know it was from the other thread, but I did see the Larry Holmes sucker punch you speak of WACO. I see why he had to leave the game.
