Hard fought 1-0 victory for the Patriots.

good win for the Patriots. Are they the best public school in Chattanooga this year? They certainly would be favored to win the district and region tournaments in A/AA.

It would certainly appear that CSAS is the top public school team in Chattanooga so far. It will be interesting to see how they do against CCS (I think next week?) and later they play my Red Raiders of Baylor. Congrats CSAS for a great start to the season.

Is CSAS a magnet school? Not that it matters, just curious.

Yes they are a magnet school but in the public school system.

They have a pretty good soccer tradition. I know we have played them at state 2 times (not sure about the other years). Glad to hear that they are off to a good start!

I know this is in another tread about soccer not getting alot of press compared to other high school sports. But CSAS got a good write up and nice color pic in the Chattanooga Times Free Press today. Thankfully the Chattanooga paper gives soccer a good amount of attention. Still not like baseball but we do get good articles. Good luck to your team as well Big G. Looks like you are off to another great start.

Sorry I did not mention them. Was just thinking of the delivered paper in town. But the Chattanoogan.com does an exceptional job for soccer and all of high school sports.
