So pretty much, Polk BLEW a SEVEN POINT LEAD... hmmm.... Meigs, even though they didn't have the bats the first game, went 2-0 against the Wildcats. First game 1-0 and the second game 11-1. Let's examine this and just sit here and take in the facts. AHHHH..... /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

First of all its SEVEN RUNS, you don't score points. We are not talking about football or basketball!!

The facts are Sweetwater had 5 errors against Meigs when they won 11-1 vs 1 each in the 1-0 game. Another fact Meigs star player's brother was the umpire behind the plate for the Polk vs Sweetwater game, is this not a conflict of interest from what I was told about this game Sweetwater's batter was standing over the plate when Polk's catcher tried to throw out a Sweetwater runner going to second and contact was made by the batter causing a bad throw. If this is the case the umpire should have called interfearance on the batter and the runner should have been called out. There's some facts for you!! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Sounds like somebody needs to either take a pill or go buy themselves a box of kleenex!

Here ye of little knowledge...... As TheOldScout said, it be runs not points smart one. As far as SHS beating PCHS, give Downs and Sweetwater all the credit for the great comeback and by not giving up in the seventh. Baseball is a one day sport, any given team can win. This is a regular season game, yeah it'd be great to win them all, but as far as i'm concerned, if Polk finishes 2nd in regular season all they have to do is win 2 games and they have the bragging rights as for the #1 team. These upcoming weeks should be good with next week; Boyd and Meigs, and the next Polk and Meigs. It's fixin to get heated on these boards i'm thinking. Well Gooooood Luck D-5AA teams.

Your exactly right. It does not matter if your 30-0 or 0-30 what really matters is the district and region tournament in May. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

That's too bad for Polk. They always do well in the regular season then choke in district tournament. If only the regular season could count. They don't have a prayer against Meigs and Central. They'll be watching the Region games again.

So your FACTS are word of mouth. You were stating FACTS about what you were TOLD, not what really happened. If you are going to try to show the least bit of intelligence, don't call what you hear FACTS. It is obvious that you heard these FACTS from a Polk County person given that you HEARD Sweetwater's batter was standing over the plate. You need to examine your sources and stop proving yourself to be an incompetent buffoon. If you need the big words defined, let me know.

That is very shameful. Last year Meigs and Central met in the district championship. Polk was a distant third. It really is kind of sad. /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
