liverpool fc 8
QUOTE(eaglekeeper2 @ Apr 25 2007 - 12:27 PM) 826445074[/snapback]if i am not mistaken, i believe columbia academy's field is an amazon moss/monkey grass hybrid with a 12.5 to 1 ratio... the secret behind their nice field is the soil, though... it's straight out of the indian rainforest, and has plenty of nutrients from the dead sloths that have fertilized it. thats what ive heard as well i think next year though they may go with a more domestic kentucky bluegrass bermuda fescue hybrid with a 60 to 30 to 5 ratio. From what ive heard its stands up great in high traffic areas and requires virtually no shade.
liverpool fc 8
commenting on what turtle boy said earlier ive heard that next year there may be a new era of grass, clover is really making a case with its ability to blend well with almost any other breed, and its ability to cover ground in only a few weeks.
