QUOTE(The Purple Paw @ May 22 2007 - 08:40 AM) 826464472Have you seen all of the teams play??? Just curious. I will say this that if Whitwell is fortunate enough to play against Forrest in the next round they sure as heck won't get beat easily!!!!

I have not seen a single softball game this season. I judge the teams mostly by whom they beat, whom they lost to, and how strong the teams they played are. Some kind of analytical analysis, I guess.

QUOTE(fishunt @ May 22 2007 - 08:37 AM) 826464471In the last two years FCS has played forrest 3 times, FCS have won 2 times. FCS have also played ER 2 times this year and beat them 5-1 and 6-1. So out of 5 meetings with theses teams FCS has won 4 times.

I think it should be in this order.

#1 TCA-FCS even

Whitwell

forrest

ER

Columbia Academy beat FCS twice this year and Forrest beat CA in the sectional. FCS has a good team but I don't think there better than Forrest, and TCA is a level above everyone else.

Well I just got back from the worst umped game I have ever seen TCA beat FCS 4 to 3, It is a shame that you have to go and play in the state with umps like that, bad calls on TCA and FCS . The game was a great game to watch, TWO of the best pitcher in the state Dueled it out Haley was on her game and pitched one of the best games i have seen her pitch. Ivy started off not as good as i have seen her in the past, she hit 5 FCS batters, but by the end of the game is was hitting her spots. Going in to the 7th the score was 1 to 2 TCA was winning, FCS pulled there starting pitcher Haley and put Fry in, why I have no ideal, but that's all hind sight. TCA scored 2 runs which made it 4 to 1 with FCS being home team with last bats they ended up scoring 2 runs with the finale score 4 to 3. and people say FCS can't play with TCA and FCS pitching dose not even compare. HAHA THINK AGAIN

Who said anything about FCS's pitching? FCS played a good game but TCA did what they had to do. Congratulations to both teams.

    • Wow, that really stinks. I hate that for you guys.
    • Not sure what you mean? 40 TOTAL? Macon is a good team no doubt, but I believe they've only scored 35 total points against Uppeeman the last two years, and that's over three games.
    • This scenario resonates with the dynamics observed in my hometown of Hartsville. The undue influence of politics on high school sports remains a pervasive issue, detracting from the integrity of athletic programs.  The proliferation of individuals driven by a thirst for power inevitably precipitates the downfall of any program. It appears that we are currently grappling with similar challenges akin to those faced by Greenback. Please accept my condolences for your ordeal.
    • From what we are hearing on the reservation we will be lucky to beat sunbright. And trust me I am not throwing stones at them because they play their hearts out. It’s a tuff game every year, just like Oakdale but when you have small numbers that’s what you get. And then you add in that you loose two top linemen and the starting qb!!!! Along with a running back!  We are in deep trouble.
    • The coach's departure ensued due to the absence of backing from the board members, compounded by the unsettling revelation that one board member persistently surveilled him, verging on conduct akin to harassment. Furthermore, it appears that meeting the expectations of this community remains an unattainable feat, as even a hypothetical scenario of clinching five consecutive state championships would likely not suffice to quell discontent. The current situation is fraught with complications, primarily stemming from applicants for the position who have cultivated relationships with board members known to have opposed the former coach.
