Mt. Juliet exploded for 6 in the bottom of the third inning Thursday and leads Brentwood High 6-0 in the losers bracket. Catcher karli Rush had a bases-loaded triple for the Bears.

Let me correct myself -- Shelby Barrett had the 3-run triple for MJ.

 

Kenzie Roark pitched six innings for Mt. Juliet, giving up two hits, striking out nine and walking two. Shelbyu Morris pitched the seventh, gave up one hit and struck out two.

 

Barrett was 2-for-3 with three RBI for Mt. Juliet. Karli Rush was 2-for-3 with one RBI and Amy Buwalda was 1-for-3 with an RBI.
