Covington Football

I heard that the head coach at Covington had resigned. Any truth to this rumor? Covington has had a very strong team over the past few years. How will this affect the 2007 team? Anyone know any info about this situation??

Well it is obviously not a rumor cause the job openning is listed on the TSSAA website, along with the Head Baseball job at Covington.

New Head Coach at Covington is Brian Beaubian- former defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach at Donelson Christian, won 2 state championships while there and in 2004 his defense was ranked 1st in state...in all classifications....Covington is getting a heck of a coach

I will echo what Topper has said. Covington is getting a great coach and 1st class person. The kids at Covington will love Coach Beaubien. He is as good a defensive mind as there is in TN. This is great I really like this hire. A great coach who not only coached an amazing defense but also coached at a school with a well balanced offense as i have heard dca had 1000 yard passers and runners in the last 3 season if can install the pass at covington watch out 3a football. I am ready to see this guy in action
