According to today's Knoxville News Sentinel, former coach Jeff Foster has been arrested and charged with three counts of statuatory rape. Allegedly, he had an inappropriate relationship with a player who was 17 at the time.

 

I couldn't believe my eyes! I almost dropped the paper! This is a very sad statement on modern society and hopefully all this will be proven to be not true. A major black eye for an excellent program!

Heard whispers of this at the last state tourney...so sad that things like this happen. I wish the best for the player and her family and Coach Foster's family as well.

Since this is an ongoing legal case we need to let the courts address this issue. Hopefully, appropriate justice will be done.
