I think you might be surprised. The only reason Brentwood didn't advance past the 1st round last year was a horrible call on a PAT. This year's team will be an improvement over that. The Bruins were very young and inexperienced last year. I think you will see an increased level of leadership and the team coming together and gelling more than in the 2006 season. I guess only time will tell...

Im not putting Brentwood down at all, all four of the 6-5a teams could make a run at the championship this year im sure they will make a deep run, but i just dont think they're able to make it to the championship game, Whos knows i could be completley wrong. Good luck!

Ravenwood will be in the running again for a three-peat to the championship game. I know the doubters exist outside the Ravenwood family for making it back to the championship game for the third time. It has been this way the last two years. I don't expect anything different this year from the doubters and naysayer. The one thing is known for certain at Ravenwood…"We Believe".

like i said before all 6-5a teams have a shot at making a run to the championship. That is of course if they dont get smaked down again by Region 5. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
