Should be a good ballgame. My hats off to the Purple and Gold of CHS for taking the WOOD out back in the 2nd half of their week 1 win over Creek Wood. Rossview will be keyed up ready to play. I believe this will be standing room only on friday. great atmosphere for rossview to get their first win in what will now become a true rival. You cannot have a rival game if you beat the team every year. now this year will create a true rival when rossview finally gets their payday. I stick to my guns. Hawks by 17 brother. Your too sentimental It will be a good one i do believe. I watched the Hawks tv game a few nights ago. They looked good and fast, just not fast enough. If CHS blows past them Fri. night that will get your attention.

How would you compare both teams to Hillsboro? Could either match the boros speed? Could either match Maplewoods speed?

 

Lets see: Rossview Beat Northeast - everyone saw this game and I do believe that Northeast is better than Creekwood who barely beat a Northwest team 17-14, the same team Northeast beat 35-0 in a scrimmage.

 

Clarksville Beat Creekwood - have not seen this game so I can only tell you what I saw from the Hawks on Tuesdays television.

 

I will change my final score: Hawks 35 Wildcats 21

There is no way CHS can stop the power running attack of RHS. CHS does not have the defense to stop all of that power. Can you say too much Padgett???????? NE did not even hit him and you think Clarksville will even lay a hand on him? No way. And then Scott at QB. Now that is a stud QB. According to others CHS only has one person on defense and that is #1. So stop him and you run all over the defense. Man watch the hawks sore on Friday!!!!

I can assure you of this 1 belongs to me and good luck stopping him. And you could not be more wrong about CHS defense. Tomorrow night you will find out who Zack Lane, Dayton Robinson are. CHS has many good football players to cover whatever your team can bring. Clarksville has Rossview's number and will continue to have it after this game is in the books. well i don't think you understood my point my point is that if we wouldn't have had him last year someone would stepped up to the plate, probably not with the same skill but we would have made it work b/c we were not a team of superstars but a TEAM.

I agree with this. chs (I put them in lowercase on purpose) is nothing. All they have is one player on each side of the ball. On Offense they have Fletcher, on defense they seem to have some Stewbrunner, or brenner or whatever playing for them. I agree with my man earlier. Rossview has been close every year they have played chs. Is it that chs is scared, and know that their reign of "terror" is over.

 

*Lets take into consideration how supposedly chs won against Creekwood. Creekwood was nervous, and had an off game. Yet, chs could'nt pull away from them until the third quarter, Heck they didn't score on Offense until the third quarter! chs can have all they want , media, fans, food, but that will make it that much sweeter when Rossview pulls this one home.

 

*Rossview has nothing to lose, but CLARKSVILLE HIGH does, and have alot to lose. Have fun being nervous, and taking a beating from their fast, and strong defense. Oh, and if Octavious won't run you over, Domonic will. You can't say that much for lil' Fletch.

 

*Remember when a baby wildcat is scared, and know it is about to die, it fights back. I feel chs is no different.

This game with be the Saturn of Clarksville Game of the Week, and will be replayed on Channel 9 on Tuesday night at 7:00.

 

Everyone saying that Rossview could not score on C.A. in the jamboree, remember, they did score, but were called back due to penalties.

Last thoughts before the game.

 

Well trash talking has not been to bad here. My first thought this morning is how fortunate we are to be getting this exposure for our programs, and the city of Clarksville this evening. It will be great time at HR field tonight. I will conclude my posting now until after the game. That said anything can happen tonight, two good football programs with good coaching and fan support. Maybe we can get our city behind a few programs at least so we can move to places we should have already been in state. Good luck to both teams on a injury free game. My wishes are that Clarksville, will put a end to the small winning margin between these two teams.

I believe rossview will show up ready to play friday night . the team has showed that they need to be respected in region 6-4A. rossview has a lot of talent in almost every position and so does chs should prove to be a great game!
