Just to keep this thread going in hopes of a humerous response.

I have seen all four of these teams play and yes Jackson has a couple of talented players. Now of course the other three have talented players sitting on the bench to replace the talented players on the field.

yes some D-2 teams can compete with some D-1 teams and maybe even win a game here and there, but again the three mentioned above are not just your average D-1 Tennessee team. There is a wide margin between them and the other D-1 teams in the state.

If Jackson is lucky enough to find themselves across the field from any of those three here is some advise:

1. Bring a good game plan and execute,

2. Pack a lunch, and

3. Buy some real eastate in your half of the field because that is where the action will be.

All in good fun and best wishes to Jackson in the state tournament. I do believe you all can make it to the finals and win this year. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
