DII Restructuring: Reaction after 5 weeks

Ok...so its 5weeks into the prep season and we've had a small grip of what a regular season in the new DII-A and AA is like. What are your opinions of it?

 

I'll start off by saying that I enjoyed the prospect of my alma mater playing more local teams, just because thats what makes HS football what it is; the daily jaw-jabbering of neighbors. BUT i will say that during my time at CBHS some of the highlights of the season were making those trips across the state, on a regular basis. It was like a true football business trip of sorts (no matter the issues each region has with the officials from opposing regions...W/M/E).

 

I guess the parents like it. Less travel for them. But i had the prospect that because I'm not in Memphis, I have to wait until the playoffs so that my team possibly may have to make a trip of may not depending on how well they do.
