I was wondering how you give points on out of state teams. The reason why I ask is because cloudland's two losses have come from two very good out of state teams that play in an SEC like confrence. Most in NC would tell you that its the best 1a/2a confrence in the state. Avery Co. and Mitchell Co. are in a 3 way tie for first place in the conference.

On another note 1a in nc is around 600 kids and both schools are 2a. As you can see i am wondering why you have our schedule ranked so low and other teams which we beat are higher than us, not to mention we are undefeated in TN. I am not saying that we should be ranked in the Top 10 but aleast give our schedule a little credit. we're 3-0 in conference play with all three wins on the road.

The rankings are really aimed at accuracy entering the playoffs and, since we can't track the season performance of out-of-state teams anyway, we don't include out-of-state games since they will not be in our playoffs.

 

There is no personal opinion in this ranking. Those opinions are left for the polls. It is simply how well you do against your opponents and how well those opponents do against everyone else.
