You can take it up with many other posters on coacht as to whether I have any intelligence, buddy.

Your post did not sound as if you were kidding so I made my post...if you don't like that I was trying to keep this post about a FOOTBALL GAME, then I guess you have a problem!

Look at the quote, it was a remark back to who posted it. Read before you respond. Thats where I base your intelligence. Now if MCFan was responding to my post, he would have got the sarcasm (and maybe a chuckle, but he is wound awfully tight), since he made the delivereance reference. So if you are so out of touch you want to get your police escort so you can get back from Jamestown safely, feel free (glover might be available, doubt it though). I would probably think that you are the only one that took it that way. So actually you have the problem, now back to football, buddy!!

I don't think he is even going to dress out...he is medically ineligible.

Thats bad news for our Warriors. Trey helped out on defense last week and would have been a big plus in this game. More motivation for the other players to stand up and give their best effort. Good luck to #10 and the Warriors.

Thanks options86. I'd be hard pressed to name a visiting team this year that had more respectful fans than did York; I'm confident that MC fans will return the favor tonight. Looking forward to a good football game and nothing more. I sure hope these teams can compete like last time and respect each other regardless of who wins. Good luck tonight Warriors.

I expect this to be a very physical game. By far you guys play much better than 5-5. I don't believe that we will overlook you, because of the tough game we played down at Marion Co.. I expect this to be a very physical game, that will more than likely come down to turnovers. One or two could make all the difference either way. Few on the Mountain expect a walk in the park, and I guarentee it isn't the players or coaches.

Hey nohope...

tell Joe to run it hard as he can and run over somebody for me!

Will do Volhooker. He's excited about the game. I remember that stacked York line from a few weeks back. If our runners get any yardage at all it'll have to be over someone. Those York players aren't 10 - 0 for nothing.

I read your post and I knew who you were replying to...you didn't put enough sarcasm in it man...just chill out.

I was afraid that things were getting out of hand...and now they have.

Why don't we just say that we both misunderstood each other's posts and leave it at that??

Cool?

Yeah...they are a very good team...I am hoping that our play calling will use some passes to joe et. al. over the middle...because that play has been open ALL YEAR and we just used it for the first time last week which happened to result in a 40+ yard TD!

I am fine, I was just ribbing back at MCfan, I apparently was responding when you were posting. So I missed a little information. Things were never out of hand, maybe misunderstood. I hate to explain myself to details, but here goes. I was mocking how fanatically MCFan responded to the sissy valley boys remark. Even when kpvols retracted, you guys patted MCfan on the back for 3 days. I respond with sarcasm, and don't really care what you call us , to the deliverance remark. You would have thought I had claimed all first born in the valley. I rednecked it up as much as my mind would let. I'll work on the sarcasm though. Go back and read from a sarcastic standpoint now. You might get it, but I do have a dry sense of humor.

It will be a tough game on the mountain, but from what I have seen of York, they have a refuse to die attitude, I expect to see it again tonight.

I'm confident our coaching staff is ready for this game. They've had some spirited practices all week and coach mentioned to several of us that he had some little problems worked out in different parts of our game. Its going to take some heads up defense to contain that York motion. Like I posted earlier, I'm just happy to be here; anything past this is just added rewards for the team and coaching staff. Its been a long year.

Oh yeah, once you said you were joking, then I got it...it just seemd to be so serious to me. Anyway...no harm, no foul.

I am hoping that the coaching staff has a good gameplan going into this one and if the kids play as hard as I know they can, we will give you guys a good game and may even steal one from you! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Just ask any CoachT poster to point Nohope out. Look for the man who's sullen and hateful when #24 is on the sideline, on top of the world when he's in. Your posts are fine. Heck, I've been known to get a tad emotional over things myself.

Nohope, I know very well who you are, I have seen you roll up your sleeves to the SP coach a time or two! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

If you have read any of my posts since I found this site after the Boyd game you would know I have been with you about the substutions. Unbelieveable. I can see where they might want to rest him some since he plays both ways but when he breaks a long run and then sits until they go back on defense...??? Back in my day, we went both ways and didn't think a thing about it. He could carry the ball 15-20 times a game easily. I can see where it is nice to have fresh legs in from time to time but on 4th and two don't give the ball to your 4th running back with your best watching from the sidelines.

MCHS needs to try to get the ball wide to the right side. #77, #70, #45 and #30 over there, #24 has broken all of his long runs on that side and when we go left it always seems like he gets stuffed.

If we could keep our big linemen on the field more to block, pick out your best 5 and stick with them, it seems to work in college ball.

We also need some cornerbacks to step up. Do they all play run first and then try to catch up with the receiver later?

Let's say we go to Jamestown and find a way to run effectively, hold onto the ball, Defense slow down their running game and our cornerbacks play the pass 1ST and don't give up anything stupid, and the coaches call a good game, we can bring home a much needed win. In other words it's going to take a game better than we have played all season, even better than the 1st half against SP. I know the boys have it in them. They have just got to stink it up and do it!!!

IMO......Nuff said

By the way Nohope and Hooker, how do you see us doing next year??

Yeah, I've really done some stupid things in my life. That one ranks right up there. Everytime I look at Coach Beck and realize he was one of them I almost P on myself.

I believe our coaching staff are going to impress us tonight. This team is focused and excited. Hopefully they'll win; just competing well and making a respectful showing will encourage me.

With the number of Sophmores that have started and played well this year, along with our strong Junior class, next year should be a good one. Many of us have griped and grumpled all year but I believe next year will pay dividends for some of those very things we found fault with. I'm excited anyway.

I hope that is exactly what they do, it will make our night go easier. I'm sure you didn't mean stink, but I couldn't help it. I'll add an lol for volhooker. lol /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
