I am not a UT fan in any form or fashion. Never have been nor will be. Therefore, I do not make it my mission to keep up with them. However, I WAS at the UK/UT game as a fan of UK. I looked for MJ, and saw Johnson was not on the field. I was told by a fan in bright ugly orange that day that Johnson had lost his spot to a freshman. I took him at his word. I did not intend to cause a controversy on here about the guy. I always liked him when he played for Smyrna. I thought he was very under-rated as a back while there. He seemed like a good kid and was not cocky in any way. I hope his brother will try to take a page from his older brother and remain HUMBLE.

Marsalous got hurt in the Alabama game back in October and needed surgery. He's been out for the year.

Well anyways to get back on topic, What do you guys think of the future Smyrna team?

Well personally as a player for Smyrna. I've heard rumors of QB Josh Woodard Switching to reciever, and the freshman QB Kyle Freeman starting. Whether they are true or not I don't know. But I DO know that Kyle Freeman throws a better looking long ball than Sonny, His accuracy is not as tuned as Sonny's is.

And YES the Middleschool did go undefeated for the 3rd time in a row.

 

And the main Freshman D-tackle, Nate Smith, is Benching 310 and squating 404.

 

VERY IMPRESSIVE STATS FOR A FRESHMEN.

I feel that Smyrna won't be as good this coming year but the year after when jerimiah is a junior and Senior, we will be unstoppable.

As for the WR questions, Steve Wilson, 6'3 180lbs. and Parish Gaines 6'3 195lbs may just start, both are FRSHMEN as well.

 

This is a VERY promising group of kids.

Uh....his brother did not start as a freshman at UT. You might better check your info a little better. In fact, he was suspended several games if you recall for the interstate incident and just about lost his scholarship. He was starting this yr but lost his spot to a freshman I believe.

 

First of all if you think that Indy had even half as much talent as Smyrna then you obviously did not watch the game. I guess we shou ld have run up the score to prove a point. Second of all Marsalous was redshirted his first year and started as a redshirt soph. i watch all the games trust me.

exactly..... Everybody is talkin about the freshman but I think that there are some sophmores and juniors who will step up and prove themselves.
