LaVergne needs to just let it all hang out, and have fun Friday night. No worries about records, or District to Region (they should get through). Let the coaching staff worry about that.

 

The Second season becomes a very different game, but take a chance at home, get the student body there, and as I said before - have fun! No Pressure....

Smyrna @ MJ....rematch of a 1 point MJ loss (Taylor Hall did not play) at Smyrna. MJ by 8.

 

WC @ LaVergne....rematch of a 2 point 'rines loss to the Mighty Kitties in the Glade. WC by 6.

I disagree, I DO think they have something to prove. I believe LaVergne is a very good team, but until you beat one or two of the big 3, not come close, but beat them , there is definetly something for LaVergne to prove. Good luck the rest of the way, there is still time to make hay this year !!

LV does need a win against one of those teams to help in their district standing. I understand what you're saying but what I was saying is the pressure was more for WC to win being ranked # 1 in the state. Going into a game each night is going to be harder & harder for WC, as everyone wants to knock off the #1 team. I once again think LV girl's know they can play against & beat these team but inorder to do that they have to start playing a consistent 32 minutes, not have a slow start or one bad qrt but consistently all the time. If they can do that, it's going to interesting come district playoff.

At Mount Juliet I believe.

District is at Mt. Juliet

 

February 11th and 12th will be first round games at higher seed schools, then all moves to MJ on the 13th. I believe the girls consolation and final games are on Friday the 15th, with the boys finishing up on Saturday the 16th.

I was given the wrong dates...let me correct

 

Seeds 2-5 in girls and boys will host Round 1 on their home courts on on Thursday and Friday, February 14 & 15. Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, February 16, 18 & 19 will conclude the tournament.
