Well what about Region 1 district 2? Jefferson County's not a rebuilding year anymore and I haven't heard anything from the Morristown teams so I guess their in hiding. Cherrokee from what I heard is going to be the same team, which they're always pretty strong. Who knows but from what I've heard everyone in District 2 is pretty excited to watch us girls compete.

im not sure science hill will be as great as they have been they pretty much lost there whole infield but first and there top two pitchers. I know wendy didnt see much action as a varsity pitcher last year but who knows they could surprise me.

 

I do have to agree that crocket and volunteer should still be strong dont think they lost that much.

 

 

Dobynns bennet should be ok they did lose Zimmerman who was there star pitcher no other pitcher saw much time so could be a rough start.

I also think that Volunteer will be ready by tourney time! Very solid team with good coaching!

My understanding is that 5 of the 6 district 2 schools have new head coaches this year (Morristown East being the only exception). Don't know if that means anything, though. Should be another competitive season with the same four hanging around the top as the last few years.

About the only thing NEW down here is the resignation of our football coach. With basketball winding down, I suppose things will start to heat up in here soon. It's just about time to round up 'ole Lance & get the IMAC board cranked up.
