Picks for 9 AA

This should be a very interesting year between the top two private schools in District 9:

David Lipscomb-----This is the year for the "Ole Coach" to take over number 1! They have been down for a few years but with all of his players returning and solids sticks look for Lipscomb to may be back in the Boro!

Ezell-Harding-----The other "Ole Coach" is going to be putting his best foot forward to beat out Lipscomb but dont believe he has the power this year to make it back to number 1. Lipscomb has better pitching and should be stronger all the away around.

Hume-Fogg-----Losted a lot of players over the last couple of years, dont have the pitching and dont have enough sticks to make a run this year.

FRA-----Jack does a good job but just dont have enough players to go for the Gold!

CPA---Softball has never really been very good at CPA, great kids, nice coach, but just dont have the players to play against the other private schools.

MLK---New coaching staff a lot of excitement and they will do a good job they could beat out CPA but they just dont have the numbers and they are a metro school!

East Literature----Will be a long season! They will win two games against Pearl but everyone will beat Pearl!

Pearl Cohn ---It is a shane that Metro doesnt put more into a program than they do this one! But when did metro ever care about the spring sports??

Did you actually see any games in 9AA last year?? I will be extremely surprised if Ezell is anything but the champion in this district. They were incredible, lost few starters and had great underclassmen in key positions. I saw them several times last year--they could have easily gone to state, if they hadn't had to face Camden in their sub-state game.

What a mixed up district! Who wants to win? I do believe that AA is the weakest it has been in years! They do not have a great AA pitcher on any teams in the districts or regions! So who moves on will depend on who can find pitching and as of now we do not see one! /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
