Cacwrestling is hosting a series of 4 wrestling clinics throughout east Tennessee. Our goal is to bring in top collegiate coaches and former Olympics team members for single day clinics. The first clinic is scheduled for April 5, 2008 from 9:00am to 4:30 pm at East Ridge Middle School in Morristown and will be led by coach Franky James and staff of Campbellsville University. The cost is $35.00 per wrestler. age (8-senior). If interested please send flyer request to cacwrestling@gmail.com. Also, if a school or club is interested in hosting a clinic we need two more locations.

thanks,

Del

The primary goal of the clinics would be to bring collegiate and top athletes to East Tennessee ( Bristol - Knoxville) to promote wrestling and expand the technique of current wrestlers ( and maybe show off some of their abilities)> We hope to price the clinics so young athletes who may not have the opportunity to attend camps can benefit from top level coaches. Ideally we want to split the camps between styles and maybe bring in a top level Greco coach as well if the interest is high enough. Although folkstyle is the standard in East Tennessee Freestyle is something we would like to promote in the area. The money, depending on the coach and the amount of participation, would go to the coach and or university, cacwrestling and the hosting school or club. The cacwrestling portion would go to opening a new club and help with the funding of a travel freestyle team.

wrestlers will need a current AAU or USAW membership card

Info on Cambellsville Coach James:

Any suggestions on reaching as many wrestlers as possible or any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
