2008 McCallie River City Tournament

Anyone have a bracket for McCallie's tournament?

 

I know there are some very good teams including Baylor, Science Hill, Ringgold, GA, Morristown West playing in it. Sure would love to see a bracket.

The teams in it are: McCallie, Red Bank, Boyd Buchannan, Baylor, Lakeview (GA), Dalton (GA), Ringgold (GA), NW Whitfield (GA), Jackson Christian, Oakland, Science Hill and Morristown West

What were the scores? Who plays who Saturday?

I saw Science Hill defeat Ringgold, GA 4-3 on Friday and Baylor beat Morristown West 6-4.

 

I will try and round up some more scores to try and see who falls where.

 

OK, after checking my very limited resources, here's what I found out.

 

Pool A: McCallie is 1-1, LFO is 1-0 and Jackson Christian is 0-1. I could not find out the LFO-Jackson Christian score.

 

Pool B: Red Bank is 2-0, Dalton is 1-1 and Oakland is 0-2.

 

Pool C: Boyd is 1-1, Ringgold is 1-1 and Science Hill is 1-1.

 

Pool D: Baylor is 2-0, NW Whitfield is 0-1 and Morr. West is 0-1. I could find a score for NW and Morr. West.

Baylor is in the championship game tonight at 7:00 after defeating Northwest Whitfield Ga 13-0, Morristown West 6-4 and Ringgold High, Ga in the semifinals 3-1. I have not been able to find out yet who they face in the championship.

I had the plate today for Oakland's game with Northwest Whitfield. Oakland won 4-2.

 

Oakland has a class team, a really good group of kids as far as I could tell and good coaches, fans and parents.

 

Oh, and they won the game before also or they wouldn't have been playing Northwest.
