I don't have any info but I'd love to see this matchup. Although I think Catholic could hold there on in 11 on 11, I'd have to give the edge to Clinton in a 7 on 7 passing league. Let us know how it goes...

they already played. It was tues. night. Supposed to go tonight but cancelled and they will replay it next Thurs. July 17th.

Is this a serious post? So you would take clinton's athlete's over Catholic's in a 7 on 7? Im not too familiar with that area but I have good enough sense to know that Catholic has better talent than most teams in the Knoxville area. Not trying to be rude but I just have a hard time believing that a team that hasn't had a winning program in quite a while could hang with a well coached and athletically talented team like Catholic... Keep us posted on here though I want to hear about it. If i didn't live so far away id come out to watch myself but again keep the info coming

Totally serious...That's why I'm on here instead of on a sportstalk show! LOL. What do I know, 6 to 1 Catholic.

 

Here was my thinking in part though. Clinton is a 4A school that had a talented QB transfer in last year. They came very close to beating a decent (8-2 reg season) Oak Ridge team in OR last year. Some think this is the year for them to beat OR. They have some pretty good looking skill people coming back.

 

Catholic is very talented and well coached, but I wasn't sure their offense would translate that well to a 7 on 7 passing league. Whereas I thought Catholic's strengths would play out better in 11 on 11.

 

So much for my career as a prognosticator.
