Actually Ooltewah went 0-10 in 1991 and 1-9 the year before for an 18 game losing streak.

Ooltewah has had only 2 (1994, 2001) winning seasons and 1 (2000).500 season since 1984 (first year in highest classification AAA in 3 class, AAAAA in 5 class). Had at least 5 1-9 seasons during that same time span (no winless seasons however). Only made their first playoff appearance in 2000 (has had football since 1954, I think, maybe a little bit earlier)

If that's not coming a long way, nothing is.

The Johnson County Longhorns have come a long way in the last few years. Mike Atwood has done a heck of a job with that program. They went from conference doormats to making the playoffs the last three seasons. They were 0-10 in 96, but were 8-3 in 2000. Another school that has come far is David Crockett. They used to be horrible, but are now playing .500 ball in the very tough I-MAC.

Baden, you are incorrect with your assumption with OS not being in the playoos as bearly as much if classifications were differently. It would nearly be the same.

Last year, OS would actually have more district titles if the old district of Scott, Wartburg, Harriman, OS, Kingston, Rockwood, with 2 going to playoffs.

OS would have gone and even won this district 3-4 times outright. Last year they would have won this region, in 1998 they would have won it. A couple years in between as well.

Just some FYI

OS91, OS might have won that district once. You're assuming a lot based on beating Kingston once. Kingston won its region in 94,95,98,99, & 00. You didn't put Loudon or LC in the "old district" although they were in it some years, and not in it some years. They win the district in 97 if they're in it. Probably in 1996, too.
