Bean0007
It is up to the discretion of the ref. Most of the time, if it is a short-arm cast (doesn't include the elbow) and it is wrapped with bubble wrap, and then covered with an elastic bandage or coban it will pass inspection. And of course the doctor's note is needed............and I would also made sure Mom agrees as well /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
sportsfan15
You will need to have a couple of options availiable every time you play because of difference in referees. Hopefully the doctor will put it in a "soft" cast which is a little more forgiving and easier to cover. Brittney Winn played in the state for Siegel last year in a soft cast and we just used part of a bath towel to cover it and it was fine. Usually a half an inch of padding with a soft cast will do. Bean also gave a couple of good options to cover it.
oknative
I think the rule book might actually mention 1/2" foam padding all around the cast -though I'm not sure I'd allow bubble wrap. And the doctor's note is a must.
