I watched the first 30 minutes of this scrimmage. Greenbrier scored 4 touchdowns to Macon County's 0. Greenbrier had several long runs on offense and Macon could not move the ball against their defense. Greenbrier's sophomore QB, Roger Herndon, is the real deal. He has great speed and seems to be in more control of the team than he was last year as a Freshamn starting QB. On Greenbrier's first possession Herndon ran about 70 yards for Greenbrier's first TD. Several of Greenbrier's backs also had long runs. Greenbrier has a young but talented team. They could surprise some teams this year. They play in a very tough region.

 

Good luck to both Greenbrier and Macon County this year.
