I think White House- but he has been getting offers from Wilson Central, the new WhiteHouse school, Springfield, and he turned down the Blackman job for shad. He will be a great pick up for any school around (Macon Co?) (Portland)

I dont know about all that, but rumor has it that Springfield has many people interested. Question would be, who exactly is making the hire, what exactly they are looking for in a coach, and what is it gonna take to rebuild a dismal situation. I still say that someone that has no ties to springfield therefore no political connections or favors to grant would be the best situation. When will the hire be made? Has anyone said?

Has there ever been talk of moving the varsity games from Boyce Smith Field to the "new" school. The playing surface seems very good, but the press box, rest rooms, concessions are certainly lacking. Does everyone in town (junior pro, etc.) play at Boyce Smith?

i thought they just redid their stadium a couple of years ago. it is quite nice now I heard.

Field is nice......other stuff is "lacking".

I can tell you this.......winning will cure alot of ills in this community!!

No only teams that play at Boyce Smith are Middle and High school football and the Boys soccer teams. Jr Pro plays at a new city park. I dont see a field at Springfield High anytime soon. I just think get used to seeing the Yellow Jackets at the middle school at Boyce Smith. When renovations where down the bleachers look good, got rid of the stone wall near the street but everything else needs updating such as dressing rooms and such and concessions IMO

Now we need to remodel the team and the coaching staff..........THAT is going to be the real chore!!!
