I would like to tell everyone, who said, "A 5' 8", 155lbs, runningback would get killed playing 5A ball." to kiss my rear end.

That running back is now All-State.. Pretty good for a "unproven" soph.

Congarts to Devrin Young

you know I thought about you when I posted this /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

we tried to tell them........

you also know he is going to be m=named KIL and Prep Extra Soph of year and 1st team on both....

been a great year for that RB who people said couldnt play....will be in the thick of the Mr. Football hunt next year....I expect him to rush for over 2,000

I can hear them now..Devrin is a great player, but he will never make it on the D1 level and to bad he will be playing on a 3-8 team next year.

YES, SIR!!!

He is a TRUE sophmore too. Has never failed or been held back a grade..

Well goodness me, that is absolutely PHENOMENAL!

What kind of numbers did this guy put up? Must have had some monster stats to make the 5A All State Team as a RB.

Congrats to him especially, sounds like he'll win a Mr. Football Award at some point.

Sounds like a straight beast indeed. Good luck to him next season!

He's on Bearden, correct? Will they be 5A or 6A next season?

    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
