it has become more evident that Reclassification of 7AAA in to a 6 school District was a misstep when at the beginning of the reclassification Wilson Central was Classed with the Rutherford County Schools and then in the end the School was left in the District 9 camp. It is obvious that not only is 7AAA not a District that Schools want to play during regular season but some may not even want to be in the same District with and opted out. Wilson should have been in 7AAA in all sports and made it a 7 team District and/or found another school in addition to make it an 8 school District. 7AAA lost some good schools in the reclassification and other Districts pricked up some great schools.

District 8 will also be a six-team district from now on with Coffee County moving out. The district they are moving into will only have five teams. District 7 isn't the only one affected, though I certainly understand it is the district near and dear to your heart and what happens there means most to you.
