The Webb boys team was cheated and denied a chance to go to this tournament. The team is 18-0 at this point and winning by a margin of 25 points per game. The closest thing to a good game was at Farragut where the Spartans still won by 15. The team has built their whole middle school careers and this whole season around winning this tournament and the application was rejected for an unknown reason. 5 years ago, Webb took a team to springfield and won the tournament over none other the the springfield yellow jackets. this is a horrible mistake and everyone that will watch this tournament will miss out on seeing probably the best team in TN.

that's weird,my team lost 2 games this year and was accepted. We lost one to Smith County Middle School (which won the James C. Haile tournament) and Gordonsville elementary school.

Yeah im not sure what the deal is. we thought we were in the tournament for sure. we didnt find out until today that we arent. our team is down mentally right now. only 3 games left for us now when we had the possibility of 6 or 7. good luck to you though, if ya'll get a hold of sacred heart beat them into the ground. you'll have no problem doing it

that's just crazy,if your team is undefeated you should automatically be in,but best of luck to you and your team too

Also Sacred Heart was accepted to the tournament. funny thing is that Webb deafeated them by over 30 points two times this seaon. it doesnt add up and something needs to be changed.

Word is that Webb only brings a team to tournaments when they are stacked instead of playing every year (when their team isn't very good). So it seems like Webb runs from teams when they aren't very good and then wants to play everybody when they are good. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

Word is that Webb's team this year could probably beat anybody. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
