It saddens me to tell everyone that long-time Lexington head coach Jim Stowe had a massive heart attack and died last night. Coach Stowe was head coach at LHS for over 30 years and has an impact of hundreds of young men's lives.

 

Rest in peace Coach Stowe and we're going to miss you.

My prayers go out to his family....know the younger Coach Stowe has taken the job as D-burgs head coach and from all accounts heard the elder Stowe was a fixture at all his games up in the tower...always sad to hear news like this /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Coach Stowe was s super guy. Old school coach ,ex-marine and great person. Much Sympathy to the family. Does anyone know the arrangements yet?

Visitation is 2-9 Friday at First United Methodist Church in Lexington, and the funeral is at 11:00 Saturday at Lexington High School gymnasium.
