Bledsoe won over Marion Co. by a score of 5-3. There was 2 home runs hit , 1 from each team. Mykayla Richardson walked in the top of the 2nd, she stoled 2nd and was driven home on Emily Pickett home run, Marlana DeBord walked Shelby Ellis bunt for a single and Jacklyn Saunders hit a double and advanced to 3rd on a throwing error, she was scored on a fielder choice on Tiffany Holloway. The Warriors scored all 5 runs in the 2nd inning...Emily Pickett got the win on the mound. She faced 33 batters gave up 3 runs 5 strike out 1 walk and gave up 1 home run

The Warriors played a double header on Thursday night at home to make up raind out games..Game 1 was against Hixson. The Warriors scored 2 in the 2nd 1 in the 3rd and 2 in the 7th to come up short of a win. Hixson takes the win by 9- 5 score. Haley Reagan 2-3 Shelby Ellis 3-4 Marlana DeBord 2-4 Kayla Reagan 2-4 1 double Jacklyn Saunders 3-4 1 double....Kayla Reagan started on the mound And Emily Pickett finished...Kayla Reagan:12 batters faced...3 hits....1 stike out...29 strikes...9 balls...Emily Pickett: 25 batters faced...5 hits...2 walks...2 strikouts...55 strikes...19 balls

The Warriors Played in the Grundy Tournament in Grundy Co. on Friday night the Warriors went 1-1. The Warriors played Signal Mt. in the 1st game and took the win by 5-1. Saunder 2-3 1 double T Bridgeman 2-3 1 double 1 Home run 2 RBIs. Haley Reagan 2-3 1 single 1 double.. Kayla Reagan took the win on the mound

Warriors was put out of the tournament by South Pitts by a score of 1-0 The only run was scored on a wild pitch The Warriors had 6 hits in this game. Tiffany Holloway 2-2 2 singles. Kayla Reagan took the lost on the mound.. NOTE: all games at Grundy Tournament was 5 innins only instead of time which i think worked out good...

About as much as anybody has in school ball a travel ball pitcher which is getting better evertime i see her. You know you can't win ball games hitting the ball one time an inning and that has been our problem this year we just can't put hit together, not taking away from any team we have faced, and errors has cost us a few ballgames as well.We had 10 errors in this tournament. Grundy was the best team there this weekend. Your buddy Gilbert

      One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.

      If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.

      I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
