From: Trousdale Co. in need of a game

Just saw in the Mayfield Messenger today that Trousdale County has been inked to play in the Jackson Purchase Alliance Bowl at the two year old Graves County football stadium in Mayfield, Ky. against the Cardinals of Mayfield....

 

The date is Saturday Aug. 29th at 6 PM and is part of a double-header..The second game will feature the host school Graves County Eagles vs Trigg County, KY....

 

The game will be Mayfield's second game of the year as they face Marshall County, KY in their first game of the year on Aug. 21st....

 

Mayfield and Trousdale Co have played each other twice before in 1990 and 2000 each winning on the other's home field....

 

As Trousdale Co has seven state championships so does Mayfield....Mayfield is one of Kentucky's and the nation's most tradition-rich programs...

 

Next season the Eagles of Graves County will face Trousdale County as all four have committed to a two year deal....Graves is a 6A school...
