Prayers to Mr. Basketball finalist Drew Kelly and the rest of his family on the loss of his grandfather, longtime Austin Peay coach Lake Kelly.

I hate to hear this. I really enjoyed playing briefly on the freshman team at Austin Peay when Coach Kelly was there and really enjoyed watching them play during the Fly Williams, Danny O, and Howard Jackson years. My prayers go out to the family.

Prayers to the family. Sure loved watching his teams play during the short time he was at Columbia Central.

I met Coach Kelly when he was at the University of Kentucky, and he was a class act. He helped me when I was away from home and needed a friendly face. He was a class act.

My prayers go out to the Kelly family. I played for his son Brian in high school and he was a great man.

I was a member of both his teams at Columbia. Waking up and reading about his passing in the paper was like getting hit in the gut. He was a class act and the lessons he passed along about life and sports, I have never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Coach we'll never forget you.
