The highest three total pounds in each class will win the individual awards.

POWER INDEX WINNERS: There will be two Power index Winners (Pound for Pound 165 and Below& Pound for Pound 181 and Above) Power Index will be calculated as follows: High squat + High bench + High clean = TOTAL POUNDS LIFTED divided by the lifters body weight. These two winners will receive a plaque as well.

RULES: No ???bench shirts???, ???squat suits???, inhalents of any kind (ammonia etc.). No mantis, or other stabilizing devices. No chalk, No Straps of any kind (including wrist to bar straps.

??? Belts, knee wraps or knee braces and standard lifting gloves are permitted.

??? When a lifter weighs in, they will report their 1st attempts for Squat, Bench & Clean. Then as soon as they finish an attmempt, they must report the next attempt to be made. If a lifter ???scratches??? an attempt, they CANNOT go down in weight on the next attempt.

??? A coach can make 1 change per lifter card on the next attempt. He must initial the change and again the lifter cannot go down if he has already attempted the lift already.

??? Each lifter must bring their own spotter up with them. (a teammate or coach).

??? On Squat: The judges will look for hamstring paralell to the floor. I know most of us teach femur paralell, but this gives the judges a little room.

??? On Bench: Feet must stay on the floor, bar must touch the chest, No standing on toes or putting plates under the feet. If the spotter touches the bar after ???lift-off???, it is a scratch.

??? On Clean: The lifter can Power or Hang Clean. One continuous movement with a 1 second hold of control. The lifter gets 2 steps to control the weight. (A step and a gather). The weight must be placed down easy after the attempt. ANY bar dropped from above the knees is a scratch! We will be competing in our gym and we must preserve the floor. DO NOT THROW THE WEIGHT DOWN!

??? Hospitality room will be provided for coaches, trainers, administrators, bus drivers and selected guests. This is NOT for the athletes. A concession stand will be available, so have them bring money to eat with.

??? Admission for anyone not on a football team will be $3.00.
