Freshman Isaac Jordan on a great hustle/skill play... had another goal taken away by the ditch in front of the goal... and was taken down in the box for a PK...oh yea the ref changed his mind after he called that one as a PK...good game a bit closer than the score might suggest... Seymour played well and clean...Berean is just behind...only their 3rd real game...lost 3 starters at the beginning of season one starting forward other two are defense starters...Hard tocome back when they a short players already...

will they get their missing players back. Coach Lee does a great job with some major limitations, I'd never want to deal with the issues he had with preseason and players traveling and not being able to train a full squad or scrimmage before real games.

One has a knee injury...unsure on his staus 3 weeks for sure he is the forward...one more might be back in two weeks the other is lost for the year....Coach Lee does an amazing job of motivating and getting the most out of a player...it is tough but that is what they have to work through

So easttnref dug that "ditch" in front of the home goal like he said he would? I thought he was kidding around. Are you serious? The game was closer than the score 5-1 (yeah right /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> ). Berean played Kick the ball long and run after it. Seymour had 5 players score (and used the whole bench). 2 were freshman. Possession had to be 70% Seymour 30% Berean. There was no doubt in anyone's mind at the game last night who was the better team. Seymour dominated!

 

 

I would say you are right though the game was close...if you take away the 1st, 3rd, and 5th goal.

 

 

 

The PK you speak of was after the Berean player had pushed in the back to get the ball in the first place (that is why the ref called it back ).

 

 

The goal Berean scored was a gift from the Seymour goalie.

 

 

Berean better be glad their goalie is their best player otherwise this game could have gotten worse than it already was.

 

 

 

And the ditch on the field? Come on Berean your field is concrete, and made for 6 year old Ayso girls. With a giant hill going down the center of the pitch.

I don't represent Seymour. The players, coaches, and parents do. From what I know and read on here by other posters Seymour seems to be representing themselves just fine.
