No Hitter at the Big Chip

Kyle Brown from Liberty threw a no hitter against Milan at Pringles Park Thrusday. Someone must have thought they were renting the place by the hour as the game was played in an hour and 10 minutes. Liberty picked up just 3 hits, one of which was an RBI double high off the left field wall by Matt Haynes for the only run of the game.

Only baserunners by Milan were on a stikeout on a wicked breaking pitch in the dirt that got away and an infield error. Liberty had only the 3 hits and were issued one walk and hat a hit batter, so just 7 baserunners in the game.

Both pitchers were dominant. The Brown boy kept his focus and hit his spots. I don't think he left much over the middle and when he did he got away with it. Part of being a good pitcher. Liberty played solid baseball yesterday and looking at your record is a good team. It was fun to play at Pringles. Good luck to Liberty in the tourney!!!
