You are right...Gordonsville is a GREAT team who has definitely earned both mine and my players' respect. And Courtney Maynard is fully deserving of the district MVP as she is an awesome pitcher and really sweet girl. Every time we play them is it definitely a struggle. I fully expect Gordonsville to win their region game (and us too, I hope!) and we may be playing each other again next Wednesday! I hope that both us and Gordonsville make it to the state tournament so that we can represent district 8A well!

If anyone saw the region game between RBS and Gordonsville saw a classic game that went 10 innings with Gville ousting RBS in the end 3 to 2! Great game!

No doubt, Gordonsville is a great team...They are well-coached and they never give up. I fully expect to see them play a good game against Grace Baptist on Friday and we are pulling for them to get to the state tournament!
