From looking at the regional radar there is a 30 percent chance that any district in the state will actually be able to finish its district tournament in time for the regionals. So here's my idea. Let's just chunk it all and go to a sunny beach in the South Pacific (lowest flu rates right now)!

I'm in...especially since my son's school won their district outright.

We are going to start in the morning. Infield is tarped and dry. All outfielders must wear a class 3 life jacket and we will have throw rings if needed. Umpires will be wearing red life guard swim suits.

Great idea. Better put the umps on jet skis, though.

BTMom over on the Big 9 thread has a good idea too. She mentioned a Tiki Hut somewhere and it's got to be 5 o'clock there. Either one, count me in!

I'm thinking an enterprising booster club could make all their budget and them some with that idea.
