well webb. is 14-13 this year... and they beat harriman 3 times this year.. i feel like the district is down.. and they beat grace 13 to 0... so yah the district is down

Comparing Webb to district 3 teams has to be the dumbest comparison I have seen. That's like comparing University of Florida against Florida International University. Not only is it like comparing apples to oranges, but it shows how little you know.

Beat the #1 seed, and heading to the region play-offs

Not to bad for being "so far down this year"

Again, you missed the ENTIRE point of the comment.

First, I am glad Rockwood advanced to the Region. Thirteen straight trips to the regionals is very impressive. As an old Tiger, I hope they find a way to keep winning and win the state.

That being said, this year's version had the worst winning percentage since 1995. RHS had only the 2nd non-winning record since 1996. It is way down from some of the seasons they have had in the past few years. The fact they finished second in the district tourney doesn't change that. So by the standards Rockwood has set for itself, this is a down year.

Thats not a bad thing though. To lose all the players they did, to change coaches, to really not be the strongest team in the district over the course of the season, and to still find a way to advance in the postseason is really something to build on. It really says a lot for the future. To be able to say "in our worst season in nearly 15 years we STILL found a way to make the regionals," is something to be proud of. I think the players on this year's team will use this accomplishment as a spring board into next season and beyond.

    • You wanna talk about zoned for Bearden.  Lol.  I don't think so.  But my point was who can blame a kid for not wanting to be in a private school.  Nobody is zoned for a private school, it's a free country right?
    • Great win for the Pirates. State Tourney bound !
    • You're talking about the running back, right? I don’t believe he was zoned for west, but there were numerous players that came from TKA a few years ago and still are. I’m sure some are, but the majority aren’t.
    • Gratitude abounds for Blake Satterfield, whose five-year tenure as the head coach and exemplary ambassador for Trousdale County and its educational system has left an indelible mark. His strategic leadership during playoff seasons was nothing short of remarkable. Anticipating that his future endeavors will be equally impressive.  Perhaps the board members will refrain from undermining the incoming coach as they did in Blake's case.
    • Yeah that's true, I was talking more about football.  If you go to a TKA game, there's nobody there.  The only people there are the parents of cheer and parents of players.    The kid that left and came to West was zoned for West and decided to quit private and go public school.  He won two state championships at West, so hard to blame him there.
