There are some on the softball forum calling for the coaches to just meet at the mound and mud wrestle for top seed. With Thursday being the last day to get in district play we may have to resort to this.... now that would be a site!

Sunday is technically the last day. The TSSAA says each district must have two representive teams for region play by Monday, May 11. Your district coaches must have agreed to Thursday as a cut off???

Yep, it is my understanding that they did! But I guess if TSSAA overruled a National Federation rule in the Ooltewah/Red Bank game they could surely overrule our district coaches.......you would think!

I don't believe TSSAA overruled anything. They have a guideline in the TSSAA Handbook for suspended games and therefore do not need to refer to another rule. It seems silly to me to take runs from a team unless the home team was leading during the previously completed inning and the game is finalized as a complete game. It was more fun to have it settled on the field properly anyway.
