How is the 3-AAA tournament progressing, despite the weather? Any updates?

Today @ 3pm - Halls/Powell, 4:45 - Central/Knox West, 6:15 losers play, 8pm - Winners Play

Finish Friday if possible

Showers look pretty spotty today, so hopefully all 4 games will be played today. Tomorrow could be a wash.

Powell beat Halls 1-0 and Central beat West 3-0 then Halls beat West 7-3 putting them out. Central beat Powell in the winners game 2-0. These were some very close and exciting games. Powell actuall out hit Central 8 to 2 and Danielle Allen had a perfect game going into the bottom of the sixth when an error openned up the oppurtunity for Central.

 

Now Powell is scheduled to play Halls again today and the winner will play Central. 3AAA has had pretty much no surprises the higher seeds have won every game as they should. It doen't look good weather wise. The Clinton field just got hit hard and it looks like they will have another storm later today.

On the 4-AAA side, Heritage beat Farragut 1-0, Maryville beat Heritage 5-0, and Farragut eliminated William Blount 5-3. Heritage plays Farragut today (weather permitting) in the elimination game with the winner facing Maryville for the championship.
