Hard to argue with that list!

I was a little surprised they went with a freshman instead of a senior, maybe Hammond from GPS, Long or Curtis from CCS, or even a sophomore, Walker from Grace especially since those teams made the state tournament. It's hard to argue with the freshman's credentials though while playing a Class AAA schedule.

I couldn't help but notice that 5 of the 6 players from Soddy Daisy that made the list will be returning next year....Talk about re-load. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Some 8th graders on this list including the Rodrigues kid from CSAS...she can really deal it...It would be nice if the Times Free Press would do a final stats for area softball....seems like they stopped a couple of weeks before the season ended.

I've seen Nunley pitch 3 games recently and has looked as impressive as anyone I've seen all year. Its really just "pick your poison" with any of the top players.
